I voted for Barak Obama. So did everyone else apparently. Go watch that youtube video and take note of the title “Your Weekly Address from the President-Elect.” Weekly Address. On youtube no less. This administration will be different and it’s refreshing to think that it maybe more open. The question is will Obama be able to keep these Internet fireside chats going? After he’s inaugurated will he be doing Presidential updates on youtube? When and if the first crisis of his administration happens (his “9/11″ or his “Cuban Missle Crisis”) will he still keep us up to date on the thinking going on in the White House even if it is limited due to national security concerns? It’s great to have a president that’s technically savvy and is willing to use technology to help deliver his message. I hope he never closes those channels up.
Here’s his blog: http://change.gov/
I’m awaiting his twitter feed next and the UStream of his brand new puppy.

Hey. I’m writing this so I can make contact with you, not to post on this specific post (although, yay Obama!). I’m contacting you because I’m a fan of Galaxy Express 999, and in a way I’ve sorta gone down Tetsuro’s path in that I remember GE999 vaguely from my youth, and the episodes I’ve managed to catch on youtube profoundly affect me even though I haven’t sen the film in decades (yes, I’m that old). I want to get in touch with a fellow fan and ask a few questions about the current availability and quality of whatever stuff can be found out there, and some general questions about the films…
If that sounds cool, just reply to my email included in this post. I didn’t intend this post for submission, so if you delete it after you cut and paste the email, that would be fine.
Thanks!
